Grant Thornton is one of the top firms for assurance, tax, and advisory services worldwide. They know that getting new clients is key to keep growing, but their screening process was holding them back. It involved a lot of paperwork and was taking too much time. Together with the team of Team Resilience and Studio Doppelganger, I designed a brand new app that seriously sped up this process.

Grant Thornton takes safety very seriously, so they put a lot of effort into screening new clients. But over time, this process became inefficient. Employees had to search for documents in different tools and places. On top of that, people weren't always sure who was responsible for what, or what requirements were needed for different types of clients. They were eager to add some more structure to this process.
But where to begin? To find the right solution for our problem, we kicked this project off with a design sprint.

Employees no longer need to spend time checking in with their colleagues on the latest status of a prospect. Our new tool provides a clear overview that combines all relevant details, documents, and reviews in one place. With this tool, they'll never lose track of important documents in the endless void of emails and folders again.

Grant Thornton has a diverse group of clients, each with unique requirements. These requirements can change based on shifting laws and policies. Let's be real - it can be difficult to keep up on your own. The new tool asks strategic questions about the new prospect and then tells you exactly what you'll need. Now employees only need to ask their prospects for input once.
We were very happy to hear that the client acceptance tool has been a hit and that its users believe it has made the process smoother than ever
